I have my first exam, which just happens to be English in like an hour and I’m to cold to even get out of bed! :S

What makes it worse is we have to wear full school uniform and I lost my school jumper :’(

Lest we forget.

Today is Anzac Day, for those who don’t know, Anzac Day is the most important day of the year to Australians. It’s a day where we reflect on those who risked their lives for our country and give thanks to our great service men and women.

Today, I had the amazing honor of carrying the banner for my Great Uncle in the Sydney march along George St. Tens of thousands of people line the streets to pay their respects. My Great Uncle is 91 in a few weeks and out of the 275 men, he is the last soldier from his battalion still marching. With my other ancestor’s medals on my chest (to the right of course), I marched down the middle of George St, saw all of those Aussie’s lining the street and saw my Great Uncle, the lone soldier walking behind me and never felt more proud to be Australian in my life.

We WILL ALWAYS remember them.
